Over two years, the small acts of kindness from his colleagues have left a lasting impression. Warehouse supervisor Li Chiping’s actions have amplified his image as a warm and caring older brother.
One day in April 2020, I joined the Zhong’an Xie family with a mix of trepidation and excitement, just like many other newcomers to the workplace, a blank slate ready to be filled. Aside from my supervisor, Manager Li was the first person I saw. His 憨笑 (a kind of honest, simple smile) instantly dispelled my anxiety and marked the beginning of my journey.
The company’s policy of providing meals and accommodation also provides convenience for employees. Supervisor Li took care of the newcomers and took the initiative to bring me breakfast in the cafeteria. I never expected that he would bring me breakfast every day for two years without interruption. I was impressed by Supervisor Li’s spirit and perseverance. How lucky and wonderful it is to have such a warm-hearted colleague!
As we approach 2022, exactly two years have passed. On this occasion, I would like to express my gratitude to my kind-hearted older brother for his care and support along the way. He has been a tremendous driving force for me and a noble quality worthy of emulation. I am also grateful to Zhong An Xie, a company full of love, for bringing us together, for mutual love and support. Because of love, we are resilient and unyielding; because of love, we forge ahead!
All good things arrive as promised. The best gift is never a specific thing, but rather unexpected warmth, shining upon us like the sun, reminding us that we are always working, always loving and being loved!
