In the second half of 2021, the production workshop introduced the latest Industry 4.0 automated assembly machinery, which was installed on the handheld metal detector production line to improve production efficiency and meet the growing demand.
In the production workshop, it can be seen that during assembly, the robotic arm of the equipment automatically positions itself to the screw hole and drives in the screws. Each screw takes only about 0.3 seconds, and the speed is adjustable. Furthermore, the equipment has two robotic arms, allowing more than 10 handheld metal detectors to be assembled within one minute.
Compared to manual assembly, the introduction of new equipment has increased efficiency by 4 to 6 times, easily producing 3,000 to 6,000 handheld metal detectors per day. Increased efficiency naturally saves time and costs, potentially allowing for lower market prices, which is great news for users.
During last year’s peak industrial season in August and September, Industry 4.0 improved efficiency and played a crucial role in order completion. As we all know, during the peak industrial season, many manufacturers experience varying degrees of order delays, leading to a poor customer experience and delaying project completion. However, our company did not experience any delivery delays during this year’s peak industrial season; on the contrary, we completed three times more orders.
